Meditation is an integral part of the practice of yoga, and is the seventh limb in Patanjali’s Eight Limbs of Yoga.  Traditionally, asanas (the physical postures we do on the mat and what many people typically think yoga to be) were done with the goal of preparing the body to sit for meditation.

We are so happy to be welcoming an open and free meditation sit to our schedule! This is a weekly opportunity for anyone with a meditation practice to come together, in support  and encouragement of our individual meditation practices.

We do ask that participants have some prior meditation experience and that every person bring  strong determination to sit still and quietly for the whole hour.

Please bring your own cushion.

Saturdays from 5:30- 6:30 PM.
