Therapeutic Yoga & Meditation

Not your average yoga class! Therapeutic Yoga & Meditation was created out of the desire for more regular classes that incorporate the full experience of yoga as a mind-body-spirit practice, while also being accessible and trauma-informed.
This class offers simple and powerful practices, therapeutically guided to help soothe the nervous system, ease mental/emotional tension, and strengthen connection to your authentic self.
Class sizes are capped around 10-12 people, to keep the room feeling spacious and intimate. Each month focuses on a single theme and yoga sequence. This allows us to take our time, to not overwhelm the mind with too much information, and to go deeper into a practice by doing it routinely.
These classes are held with deep reverence for the authentic lineages of yoga, including a wide breadth of practices:
- Embodied movement for healthy joints, glands, organs, tissues & spine
- Mantra, mudra & pranayama for mental and emotional balance
- Bandhas, chakras & subtle body practices for deeper self awareness
- Guided relaxation for stress relief & deep rest
- Meditation for peace, contentment & connection
- Yogic philosophy for living in good relationship with self & others
