Meet Arisa (if you don’t know her already!) – she’s one of three Yoga Nidra teachers providing a brief yet beneficial hiatus from the quick pace of daily living. Catch your break M/W/F 12:15-12:45pm.

Arisa first experienced yoga nidra in a long ago yoga class, and loved the experience.  She wasn’t introduced to the full magic and potential of yoga nidra until her teacher training at True Self Yoga.  She was intrigued by the emphasis on non-duality and the opportunity for embodiment that yoga nidra provides. Curious to learn more, she followed up with an iRest Level One Teaching Training.  iRest is a form of yoga nidra that has been studied and shown to be effective at improving sleep and relieving stress. She continues to be curious to learn more about the origins and lineage of this ancient practice as well as its application in today’s world.
