Children’s Yoga Teacher Training

Weekend 1: Postnatal and Toddler Yoga, ages 0-2
April 12-14, 2019
Yoga is a tremendous tool for healing and self care in the years following birth. Postnatal Yoga classes give parents and caregivers a space to rest, build strength, and find likeminded community. As babies grow, they can also receive benefits from participating in family yoga classes with a caregiver. Families that practice yoga together can truly thrive!
This training is for parents, caregivers, teachers and yogis who want to share the tools of yoga, meditation and mindfulness in your homes, yoga studios, health care spaces, fitness centers or child care centers.
This weekend, for adults who want to teach adults and adults with children, will explore:
* Creating safe and inclusive space for all kinds of families
* Postpartum anatomy and appropriate yoga practices for postnatal health
* Social, emotional and physical developmental patterns of infants and toddlers
* Baby and toddler friendly yoga sequences
* Yoga Movement with Song
* Meditation Activities
* Partner Yoga
* Tools to plan and organize a parent child class successfully
Weekend 2: Yoga for Children and Families, ages 2-6
April 26-28, 2019
Children thrive and utilize tools of self-calming, focus, meditation. As the world speeds up they need our help more and more, you can learn to share these tools with the children in your life. This training is for parents, caregivers, teachers and yogis who want to share the tools of yoga, meditation and mindfulness in your homes, yoga studios, fitness centers and schools.
Research shows that yoga and meditation can help kids:
* Focus and concentrate for homework or test taking
* Increase calm and self-regulation of emotions
* Cultivate better abilities to be cooperative
* Improve strength, flexibility and self-esteem
This weekend, for adults who want to teach children, will explore:
* Compassionate communication
* Yoga philosophy
* Social, emotional and physical developmental patterns
* Mindful games
* Building fun class curriculum
* Meditation Activities
* Partner Yoga
* Breathing techniques that help calm, focus and self-regulate
These courses count towards Yoga Alliance CE credits and fulfill 32 hours of the YA-RCYT 95 certification.
Schedule: Friday, 5:30-9:00pm Saturday, 10:00am-6:00pm Sunday. 10:00am-4:00pm
Tuition for one weekend: $475
$50 off when registered and paid in full by March 1st, 2019.
Tuition for both weekends: $900

200hr Yoga Teacher Training
January 25 – March 31, 2019
Deepen your practice and learn the art and science of yoga instruction.
Topics will include asanas, philosophy, meditation, anatomy, and assists.
TEACHER TRAINING OVERVIEW
- 10-week teacher training over 10 consecutive weekends January 25 thru March 31, 2019: Fridays: 5:30-8:30pm
Saturdays: 8 am – 5 pm
Comprehensive program for aspiring teachers experienced teachers or yoga students who want to deepen their practice
Meets the 200-hour Yoga Alliance Registered Program requirements to understanding yoga instruction including philosophy, meditation, asanas, anatomy and hands-on assists
Taught by Anne Laderman, Christina Lagdameo & Vajra Romano, this intensive training draws on the over 50 years of their collective yoga experiences. The course will offer you a solid foundation in the art of teaching Yoga and a transformational experience fostering personal and professional growth. Overall, you will gain powerful insights to more deeply integrate with your True Self.
100% attendance to all components is required to register with the Yoga Alliance as a RYT-200
Tuition: $2,700 total. $500 nonrefundable deposit to enroll; $2,200 remaining tuition must be paid before training begins on January 25, 2019.
Early-bird special: $2,500 if deposit paid before December 1, 2018. Another $200 off if paying with cash or check. Payment plans available.

Week Ten: Developing Your True Path: Next Steps with Your Yoga Training
